Arja Talma

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY AND BOARD EXPERIENCE

Arja Talma, M.Sc. (Econ.) (HKKK, 1986) and eMBA (ENPC, 1999), has long experience in financial and general management positions and auditing. Talma worked for 11 years in management positions in the Kesko Group, e.g. As Kesko’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2005-2011 and as Rautakesko’s CEO in 2011-2013.

She was a member of Kesko’s Group Management Team from 2005–2014. Before Kesko she held management positions at Radiolinja 2001-2003 and as an auditor, Authorized Public Accountant and partner in KPMG Wideri Ltd from 1987-2001. Since 2015 Talma has focused full-time on board work.

Talma works as a Chairman of the Board of Verkkokauppa.com Plc. and as a member of Metso Outotec Plc’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee, as a member of the Board of Nordea Bank Plc and as a member of Glaston Plc’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee.

She has previously served in the boards of Metso Plc, Sponda Plc, Posti Group Plc, Mehiläinen Ltd., Norvestia Plc, Onvest Ltd, Nordic Cinema Group AB (publ), VR Group Ltd, Luottokunta, Evia Plc, Suomen Asiakastieto Plc, Aktia Pankki Plc and Serena Properties AB. .
