Professional history and Board experience

Heikki Lehmusto, Master of Laws, is an active board professional and partner in various areas of strategic management. Lehmusto is one of the leading experts on digitalisation and the changing world of communications. He mentors young professionals to stay on top of current issues.

In addition to consulting and mentoring, Lehmusto has helped professionals and senior management in their relations with the public. Lehmusto’s professional history includes CEOships at Insinöörilehdet Oy (now Talentum) 1980-86, Oy Kolmostelevisio Ab 1986-93 and Fazer Musiikki Oy 1993-94, work as a member of the Board of Yleisradio Oy and Director of the Television Division 1994-2001 and as Vice President of Siljan Corporation 2001-02.

Mr Lehmusto has held numerous board positions, as chairman or member, including Affecto, Edita, Innoka, Apple Finland, Gummerus, A-Lehdet, Veikkaus, Pretax – Accountor, Red Lynx, Arvopaperilehdet, Internationale Tietokonevälitys, Pension Bellevue Oy, Vierumäki Oy, Sovelto Oyj. etc. Lehmusto has done pro bono board work as Chairman of the Finnish Tennis Federation 1992-95 and Chairman of the Board of the Savonlinna Opera Festival 1994-2003

Mr Lehmusto is a senior consultant and holds positions of trust, including Chairman of the Board of Finnpanel Oy and a member of the Board of Sovelto Oyj. Together with partners in the field, Mr Lehmusto has organised the Pro Bono Top Seminar, which focuses on the management and board work of organisations and foundations.
