PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND BOARD EXPERIENCE

Katri Sipilä (Master of Laws, Vice Judge, HHJ Chair Program) has over 25 years of experience in leadership positions within international intellectual property rights (IPR) and creative industries. Sipilä’s work at the core of digital transformation and industry-wide restructuring has taught her insights into strategic renewal and the management of diverse international networks, organizations and teams.

Following her tenure as CEO, Sipilä has worked as a management consultant, executive advisor, and coach, alongside serving on various boards. She is actively involved in developing board governance and strategic sustainability as well as providing training in these areas.

Sipilä has extensive experience in board and advisory roles across growth companies, SMEs, family businesses, public organizations, foundations and non-profits. In recent years, she has served as a board member for Ferroplan Oy, Kalliolan Klinikka Oy, Kalliolan Setlementti ry, Hallituspartnerit Board Professionals Finland ry, Espoon Yrittäjät ry, European Mentoring and Coaching Council EMCC Finland ry, Jalmari and Rauha Ahokas Foundation Board of Trustees and as the Chair for Prönö Enterprises Oy and Ekvator Oy. Sipilä is also a Member of the Design from Finland committee at the Association for Finnish Work.
